Tafsir Jalalayn : indeed before, that is, in the world, we used to call on Him, worship Him, affirming His Oneness. Verily He is (read innahu as the beginning of a new [independent] sentence, even if it introduces the reason in terms of its import; or read annahu as a reason in terms of the [syntactical] order of the words) the Benign, the Beneficent, the True to His promise, the Merciful, One of tremendous mercy. By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. Sahih International : So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. Pickthall : Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. Yusuf Ali : Therefore proclaim thou the praises (of thy Lord): for by the Grace of thy Lord, thou art no (vulgar) soothsayer, nor art thou one possessed. Shakir : Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman. Dr. Ghali : Then remind! So in no way are you (The Prophet) by your Lord's favor a soothsayer or a madman. Tafsir Jalalayn : So remind, persist in reminding the idolaters and do not desist [from this] even if they say to you that you are a soothsayer or a madman. For by the grace of your Lord, by His bestowal of grace on you, you are neither soothsayer (bi-kāhinin is the predicate of mā) nor madman (wa-lā majnūnin, a supplement to it). 52:30Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba iran giitharoa a skaniyan na pababayok a pphnayawn ami ron so kasogat iyan a kaantior (so kapatay niyan) Muhsin Khan : Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! Sahih International : Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" Pickthall : Or say they: (he is) a poet, (one) for whom we may expect the accident of time? Yusuf Ali : Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" Shakir : Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. Dr. Ghali : Or even do they say, "He is a poet for whom we await the uncertainty (i.e., the calamity of death; literally: the suspicion of fortune or fate) of fortune?" Tafsir Jalalayn : Or (am means bal) do they say, that he is: ‘A poet, for whom we may await the accidents of fate?’, the vicissitudes of time, so that he will just die like other poets. Tagalog : Sinasabi ba ng mga ‘Mushrikûn’ – sumasamba ng iba bukod sa Allâh – sa iyo, O Muhammad: Siya ay isang manunula na inaabangan na lamang namin ang takdang panahon na siya ay mamatay? 52:31Hassanor Alapa : Na tharo anka a nayaw kano ka sakn na pd iyo a phnayaw Muhsin Khan : Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" Sahih International : Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." Pickthall : Say (unto them): Except (your fill)! Lo! I am with you among the expectant. Yusuf Ali : Say thou: "Await ye!- I too will wait along with you!" Shakir : Say: Wait, for surely I too with you am of those who wait. Dr. Ghali : Say, "Await! So surely I will be with you among the awaiting ones." Tafsir Jalalayn : Say: ‘Await!, my death. For I too will be with you awaiting’, your death. They were then chastised with [death by] the sword on the day of Badr. Tagalog : Sabihin mo sa kanila: Hintayin na ninyo ang aking kamatayan dahil ako sa katunayan ay naghihintay din kasama ninyo ng pagdating ng kaparusahan sa inyo at makikita ninyo kung sino ang magtatagumpay. 52:32Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba kiran 1613 phzogoon o manga katao iran ankai, anta a ka ba siran pagtaw a somosobra (ko kandarowaka) Muhsin Khan : Do their minds command them this [i.e. to tell a lie against you (Muhammad SAW)] or are they people exceeding the bounds (i.e. from Belief in Allah to disbelief). Sahih International : Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? Pickthall : Do their minds command them to do this, or are they an outrageous folk? Yusuf Ali : Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? Shakir : Nay! do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people? Dr. Ghali : Or even do their immature understandings command them to do this? Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do their faculties of understanding prompt them to [say] this?, their saying to him: [you are either] a sorcerer, a poet, a soothsayer or a madman, in other words, they do not [in reality] prompt them to [say] this. Or (am, [in effect] means bal, ‘rather’) are they a rebellious lot?, because of their obstinacy. Tagalog : O di kaya ay inuutusan mo ba sila na mga pinasisinungalingan ang kanilang kaisipan sa ganitong salitang magkakasalungat (dahil ang katangian ng pagiging manghuhula, manunula at pagkasira ng kaisipan ay hindi maaaring mangyari sa isang tao nang magkakasabay), sa halip sila ay mga tao na lumalampas sa hangganang itinakda ng Allâh sa pamamagitan ng mga ganitong gawain. 52:33Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba iran giitharoa (a so Qur’ān) na pianaro iyan sa kapangantang, ogaid na di siran pharatiaya Muhsin Khan : Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! Sahih International : Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe. Pickthall : Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! Yusuf Ali : Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! Shakir : Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe. Dr. Ghali : Or even are they an inordinate people?. Or even do they say, "He talked it foolishly?" No indeed, (but) they do not believe. Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do they say, ‘He has improvised it?’, he has concocted the Qur’ān. He has not concocted it; Rather they do not believe, out of arrogance. If they [continue to] say that he has concocted it: Tagalog : O sinasabi ba nila na mga sumasamba ng iba bukod sa Allâh , na inimbento ni Muhammad ang Banal na Qur’ân mula sa kanyang sarili? Hindi ang kanilang inaakala ang katotohanan kundi hindi talaga sila mga naniwala, dahil kung naniwala sila ay hindi sila magsasabi ng ganito. 52:34Hassanor Alapa : Talingoma siran sa katharo a datar iyan amay ka toman Siran Muhsin Khan : Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful. Sahih International : Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful. Pickthall : Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. Yusuf Ali : Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! Shakir : Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. Dr. Ghali : Then let them come up with a discourse like this, in case they are sincere. Tafsir Jalalayn : Then let them bring a, concocted, discourse like it, if they are truthful, in what they say. Tagalog : Na kung kaya, magpakita sila ng mga paghahayag na katulad ng Banal na Qur’ân kung sila ay mga totoo sa kanilang pag-aangkin na si Muhammad ay inimbento lamang ito. 52:35Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba siran inadn a phoon sa da, antaa ka ba siran so pphangadn 1614 Muhsin Khan : Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Sahih International : Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? Pickthall : Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? Yusuf Ali : Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? Shakir : Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? Dr. Ghali : Or even were they created out of nothing? Or even are they the creators? Tafsir Jalalayn : Or were they created out of nothing?, [that is] without a Creator. Or are they the creators?, of themselves. It makes no sense for a created thing to have no creator, nor can a thing that will cease to existent [have the power to] create. There must be a Creator of them, and that is God, the One, so why do they not affirm His Oneness and believe in His Messenger and His Book? 52:36Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba iran inadn so manga langit ago so lopa ogaid na di siran pthomankd. 1615 Muhsin Khan : Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. Sahih International : Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. Pickthall : Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing! Yusuf Ali : Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. Shakir : Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty. Dr. Ghali : Or even did they create the heavens and the earth? No indeed, (but) they have no certitude. Tafsir Jalalayn : Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nor can any but God, the Creator, have created them, so why do they not worship Him? Nay, but they are not certain, of Him, for otherwise they would have believed in His Prophet. Tagalog : O nilikha ba nila ang mga kalangitan at kalupaan na ang ganitong pagkakalikha ay napakaganda? Hindi ang kanilang inaakala ang katotohanan kundi bagkus ay hindi talaga sila naniniwala sa kaparusahan ng Allâh kaya sila ay sumasamba ng iba. 52:37Hassanor Alapa : Anta a ka ba zisii kiran so manga pondowa o Kadnan ka, anta a ka ba siran so makalalankolob Muhsin Khan : Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? Sahih International : Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]? Pickthall : Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? Yusuf Ali : Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? Shakir : Or have they the treasures of your Lord with them? Or have they been set in absolute authority? Dr. Ghali : Or even do they have in their presence the treasuries of your Lord? Or even are they the dominators? Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do they possess the treasuries of your Lord?, in the way of prophethood, provision and other matters, so that they are able to assign what they will exclusively to whom they will? Or are they the ones in control?, [or] are they the mighty ones who hold sway? (the verb [from musaytirūna] is saytara, similar [in root form] to baytara, ‘to practice veterinary medicine’, or bayqara, ‘to corrupt’, ‘to ruin’). Tagalog : O nasa pagtatangan ba nila ang mga imbakan ng mga biyaya ng Allâh na iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha na sila ang nangangasiwa nito, o sila ay mga mapagmalupit sa mga nilikha ng Allâh na mapang-api sa pamamagitan ng pangunguntrol at pang-aapi? Ang katotohanan ay hindi ang kanilang inaakala kundi sila ay mahihina at mga walang lakas. 52:38Hassanor Alapa : Anta a ka ba adn a towak iran ko langit a miphamakin’g iran (ko manga kokoman roo) na talingoma so pphamakin’g kiran sa tanda a mapayag Muhsin Khan : Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. Sahih International : Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. Pickthall : Or have they any stairway (unto heaven) by means of which they overhear (decrees). Then let their listener produce some warrant manifest! Yusuf Ali : Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. Shakir : Or have they the means by which they listen? Then let their listener bring a clear authority. Dr. Ghali : Or even do they have a ladder wherein they listen? Then let their listener come up with an evident, all- binding authority. Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do they have a ladder, a means of ascension into the heaven, whereby they eavesdrop?, that is, at the top of which [they listen in], on the conversations of the angels, so that they are then able to dispute with the Prophet, as they claim. If that is what they assert: Then let their eavesdropper, [let] the one claiming to be able to listen [in on their conversations] on top of this [ladder], produce a manifest warrant, a plain and evident proof. Now, on account of the similarity of this assertion to their assertion that the angels are the daughters of God, He, exalted be He, says: Tagalog : O mayroon ba silang hagdanan tungo sa kalangitan na napakikinggan nila sa pamamagitan nito ang kapahayagan, na kung kaya, ang pinanghahawakan nila ay totoo? Samakatuwid, magpakita ng malinaw na katibayan ang sinumang nag-aangking napakikinggan niya ang pagpapahayag bilang pagpapatunay ng kanyang pag-aangkin. 52:39Hassanor Alapa : Anta a ka ba Niyan rk so manga wata a babay na rk iyo so manga wata a mama Muhsin Khan : Or has He (Allah) only daughters and you have sons? Sahih International : Or has He daughters while you have sons? Pickthall : Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? Yusuf Ali : Or has He only daughters and ye have sons? Shakir : Or has He daughters while you have sons? Dr. Ghali : Or even has He the daughters, and you have the sons? Tafsir Jalalayn : Or does He have daughters, as you claim, whereas you have sons? Exalted be God above what you claim! Tagalog : O ang Pagmamay-ari lamang ba ng Allâh ay mga anak na kababaihan at kayo ay pagmamay-ari ninyo ang mga anak na kalalakihan na tulad ng inyong pag-aangkin bilang kasinungalingan? 52:40Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba niyo siran phangnii sa sokay a siran ko kapakaphamayad sa otang na kappndan siran Muhsin Khan : Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? Sahih International : Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? Pickthall : Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? Yusuf Ali : Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- Shakir : Or do you ask them for a reward, so that they are overburdened by a debt? Dr. Ghali : Or even do you ask them for a reward, (and) so they are weighed down with heavy fines? Tafsir Jalalayn : Or are you asking them for a fee, a wage in return for what you have brought them in the way of religion, so that they are weighed down with debt?, [with] the liability for this, so that they are unable to submit [to God]. Tagalog : O nanghihingi ka ba sa kanila na mga ‘Mushrikin’ – sumasamba ng iba bukod sa Allâh – ng kabayaran bilang kapalit ng pagpaparating ng iyong mensahe sa kanila, na sila naman ay nahihirapan na ipatupad ang iyong kahilingan sa kanila? 52:41Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba zisii kiran so gayb sa pphanorat siran Muhsin Khan : Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down? Sahih International : Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? Pickthall : Or possess they the Unseen so that they can write (it) down? Yusuf Ali : Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? Shakir : Or have they the unseen so that they write (it) down? Dr. Ghali : Or even do they have in their presence the Unseen, (and) so they are writing (it) down? Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do they have [access to] the Unseen, that is, the knowledge of it, so that they can write it down?, and are hence able to dispute with the Prophet (s) regarding the Resurrection and the matters relating to the Hereafter, as they claim. Tagalog : O nasa kanila ba ang kaalaman hinggil sa mga ‘Ghayb’ – mga bagay na di-nakikita – na ito ay kanilang isinusulat at ibinabalita sa mga tao? Ang katotohanan ay hindi ang kanilang inaakala; dahil walang pag-aalinlangang walang sinuman ang nakaaalam ng anumang lihim sa mga kalangitan at kalupaan bukod sa Allâh 52:42Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba adn a bantak iran a gasta, na so siran oto a manga kafir na siran i thanaan o gasta (iran a marata) 1616 Muhsin Khan : Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! Sahih International : Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. Pickthall : Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! Yusuf Ali : Or do they intend a plot (against thee)? But those who defy Allah are themselves involved in a Plot! Shakir : Or do they desire a war? But those who disbelieve shall be the vanquished ones in war. Dr. Ghali : Or even would they like plotting? Then the ones who have disbelieved are they who are (circumvented) in their plotting. Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do they desire to outmanoeuvre?, you and have you killed, at the Assembly Council. But those who disbelieve, they are the outmanoeuvred ones!, the vanquished and the ones destroyed. God preserved him from them and then destroyed them at Badr. Tagalog : O nagbabalak ba sila ng pakana laban sa Sugo ng Allâh at mananampalataya? Subali’t katiyakang bumabalik lamang sa kanilang mga sarili na mga walang pananampalataya ang kanilang mga masasamang pakana. 52:43Hassanor Alapa : Antaa ka ba adn a tuhan iran a salakaw ko Allāh, miasotisoti so Allāh ko nganin a ipzakoto Iran Muhsin Khan : Or have they an ilah (a god) other than Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partners (to Him) Sahih International : Or have they a deity other than Allah ? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. Pickthall : Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! Yusuf Ali : Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! Shakir : Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). Dr. Ghali : Or even do they have a god, other than Allah? All Extolment be to Allah above whatever they associate (with Him)! Tafsir Jalalayn : Or do they have a god other than God? Glory be to God [exalted is He] above any partners that they may ascribe!, to Him in the way of gods (the succession of interrogatives with am, ‘or’, are intended to express censure and rebuke). Tagalog : O mayroon ba silang sinasamba na karapat-dapat na sambahin bukod sa Allâh? Luwalhati sa Allâh na Siya ay malayo mula sa anuman na kanilang sinasamba, dahil wala Siyang kahati sa Kanyang pagiging Tagapagmay-ari ng lahat at wala Siyang katambal sa Kanyang Kaisahan at sa pagsamba sa Kanya. 52:44Hassanor Alapa : Amay ka makailay siran sa sagpik a phoon sa kawang a pkhaolog na tharoon iran a gabon a mabbnsk a oran Muhsin Khan : And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" Sahih International : And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." Pickthall : And if they were to see a fragment of the heaven falling, they would say: A heap of clouds. Yusuf Ali : Were they to see a piece of the sky falling (on them), they would (only) say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" Shakir : And if they should see a portion of the heaven coming down, they would say: Piled up clouds. Dr. Ghali : And in case they saw a dark lump falling down from the heaven, they would say, "Accumulated clouds!" Tafsir Jalalayn : And if they were to see a fragment, a portion, of the heaven falling, on them — as they say, Then make fragments of the heaven fall upon us [Q. 26:187], as a chastisement for them — they would say, this is: ‘A heap of clouds!’, piled on top of one another, that will bring us water; and so they do not believe. Tagalog : At kapag nakita na ng mga sumasamba ng iba bukod sa Allâh ang mga pira-pirasong kalangitan na bumabagsak sa kanila bilang parusa na hindi na nila mababago pa ang kalagayan nila na pagtanggi (kapag ito ay nangyari), ay sasabihin nila: Ito ay mga ulap na nagkumpul-kumpolan! 52:45Hassanor Alapa : Bagakn ka siran sa taman sa mitmo siran ko gawii ran a so ron siran phaminsana (sa pinsan a kapatay) Muhsin Khan : So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror). (i.e., thunderstruck) Tafsir Jalalayn : So leave them until they encounter that day of theirs in which they will be thunderstruck, [in which] they will die; Tagalog : Na kung kaya, hayaan mo na sila, O Muhammad, na mga sumasamba ng iba bukod sa Allâh hanggang sa sila ay makarating sa Araw na sila ay pupuksain, na ito ay Araw ng Muling Pagkabuhay. 52:46Hassanor Alapa : Gawii a di kiran phakanggay a gona so gasta iran sa mlk bo ago di siran khatabangan Muhsin Khan : The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell). Yusuf Ali : The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. Shakir : The day on which their struggle shall not avail them aught, nor shall they be helped. Dr. Ghali : The Day when their plotting will not avail them anything, nor will they be vindicated. Tafsir Jalalayn : the day when their guile will avail them nothing (yawma lā yughnī is a substitution for yawmahumu, ‘that day of theirs’) and they will not be helped, they will [not] be protected from the chastisement in the Hereafter. Tagalog : Sa Araw na hindi sila maililigtas ng kanilang pakana mula sa kaparusahan ng Allâh, at kailanman ay wala silang makatutulong upang sila ay mapangalagaan mula sa parusa ng Allâh. 52:47Hassanor Alapa : Mataan a adn a bagian o siran oto a manga pananakoto a siksa a salakaw roo ogaid na so kadaklan kiran na di ran katawan Muhsin Khan : And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment (i.e. the torment in this world and in their graves) before this, but most of them know not. Pickthall : And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. Yusuf Ali : And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. Shakir : And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. Dr. Ghali : And surely, for the ones who did injustice, there is a torment besides that, but most of them do not know. Tafsir Jalalayn : And assuredly for those who do wrong, by their [persistence in] disbelief, there is a chastisement beyond that, in this world, before their death — thus they were punished with famine and drought for seven years, and with being killed on the day of Badr; but most of them do not know, that the chastisement will befall them. Tagalog : At katiyakan, para sa kanila na mga masasama ay parusa rito sa daigdig bukod pa sa kaparusahan sa Kabilang-Buhay, na tulad ng pagpatay sa kanila o pagbihag at parusa sa libingan at iba pa, subali’t magkagayupaman ang karamihan sa kanila ay hindi nila ito batid. 52:48Hassanor Alapa : Zabar ka ko kokoman o Kadnan ka ka mataan a ska na madadalm ko siap Ami ago tasbihn ka so bantogan o Kadnan ka ko masa a kapthindg ka (ko kiapakanaw) 1617 Muhsin Khan : So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes , and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. Sahih International : And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord when you arise. Pickthall : So wait patiently (O Muhammad) for thy Lord's decree, for surely thou art in Our sight; and hymn the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest, Yusuf Ali : Now await in patience the command of thy Lord: for verily thou art in Our eyes: and celebrate the praises of thy Lord the while thou standest forth, Shakir : And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; Dr. Ghali : And (endure) patiently under the Judgment of your Lord, (for) then surely you are under Our Eyes, and extol with the praise (s) of your Lord when you rise up. Tafsir Jalalayn : And submit patiently to the judgement of your Lord, that they be reprieved, and do not be grieved, for surely you fare before Our eyes, [you are] in Our sight, We see you and preserve you. And glorify, continuously, with praise of your Lord, that is to say, say subhāna’Llāhi wa bi-hamdihi, ‘Glory, and praise, be to God!’, when you rise, from your sleeping-place or your sitting-place, Tagalog : Na kung kaya, maghintay ka na may pagtitiis, O Muhammad, sa pinagpasiyahan ng Allâh na iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha at sa Kanyang pag-uutos na pagpapadala Niya sa iyo ng mensahe at sa anumang matatamo mo na pagpapahirap ng iyong sambayanan, dahil Kami ay Tagapagmasid at nangangalaga sa iyo; at luwalhatiin mo ang Allâh na iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha bilang pasasalamat sa Kanya habang ikaw ay nakatayo sa iyong pagsa-‘Salâh,’ at sa paggising mo mula sa iyong pagtulog at sa bahagi ng gabi na luwalhatiin Mo siya bilang papuri sa Kanya at pagdakila, at magsagawa ka ng ‘Salâh’ sa Kanya, 52:49Hassanor Alapa : Go sii ko kagagawii na tasbihn 1618 ka Skaniyan ago sii ko kapthalikhod o manga bitoon (ko kapkhalibabas o kapitapita). Pickthall : And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. Yusuf Ali : And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! Shakir : And in the night, give Him glory too, and at the setting of the stars. Dr. Ghali : And for (part) of the night, then (also) extol Him, and at the with drawing of the stars. Tafsir Jalalayn : and glorify Him at night — also in actual [utterance] — and at the receding of the stars (idbāra is a verbal noun), that is to say, also glorify Him after these have set; or [it means] in the case of the former, perform the two evening prayers, and in the case of the latter, the two units (rak‘a) of the dawn prayer, or — it is said — the morning prayer.
