Sa Ngalan ng Allâh, ang Pinakamahabagin, ang Napakamaawain at Ganap na Mapagmahal
87:1Hassanor Alapa : Tasbihn ka (hay Mohammad) so ingaran o Kadnan ka a lbi a Maporo Muhsin Khan : Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, Sahih International : Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, Pickthall : Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, Yusuf Ali : Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, Shakir : Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, Dr. Ghali : Extol The Name of your Lord, The Most Exalted, Tafsir Jalalayn : Glorify the Name of your Lord, that is, exalt your Lord above what does not befit Him (ism [in isma rabbika, ‘the Name of your Lord’] is extra), the Most High (an adjective qualifying rabbika, ‘your Lord’), Tagalog : Luwalhatiin mo ang Pangalan ng iyong ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha na Kataas-taasan, at ilayo mo sa pagtatambal at kakulangan ng pagluwalhati na angkop sa Kanyang Kadakilaan, 87:2Hassanor Alapa : A so miadn na miakambontal 1988 Muhsin Khan : Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; Sahih International : Who created and proportioned Pickthall : Who createth, then disposeth; Yusuf Ali : Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; Shakir : Who creates, then makes complete, Dr. Ghali : Who created; so He molded; Tafsir Jalalayn : Who created and proportioned, His creature, making it of well-proportioned parts, without irregularities, Tagalog : Na Siya ang lumikha ng lahat ng nilalang, at ginawa Niyang ganap ang Kanyang paglikha, at ginawa Niya ito sa pinakamabuting paggawa, 87:3Hassanor Alapa : Go dominianka na tomioro 1989 Muhsin Khan : And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); Sahih International : And who destined and [then] guided Pickthall : Who measureth, then guideth; Yusuf Ali : Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; Shakir : And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), Dr. Ghali : And Who determined; so He guided; Tafsir Jalalayn : and Who determined, what He wants, and guided, to what He had determined of good or evil, Tagalog : At Siya ang nagtakda ng lahat ng pagtatakda, at ginabayan Niya ang bawa’t nilikha tungo sa kung ano ang karapat-dapat at angkop para sa kanya, 87:4Hassanor Alapa : Go piakambowat Iyan so tathaba Muhsin Khan : And Who brings out the pasturage, Sahih International : And who brings out the pasture Pickthall : Who bringeth forth the pasturage, Yusuf Ali : And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, Shakir : And Who brings forth herbage, Dr. Ghali : And Who brought out the pasturage, Tafsir Jalalayn : and Who brought forth the pasture, [Who] caused herbage to grow, Tagalog : At Siya ang nagpatubo ng mga pananim na luntian, 87:5Hassanor Alapa : Na bialoy Niyan skaniyan a rasaas a miagankil Muhsin Khan : And then makes it dark stubble. Sahih International : And [then] makes it black stubble. Pickthall : Then turneth it to russet stubble. Yusuf Ali : And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. Shakir : Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. Dr. Ghali : Then He made it a dark (Or: stubble including all pasturage) stubble. Tafsir Jalalayn : then made it, after verdancy, blackened stubble, desiccated broken chaff. 87:6Hassanor Alapa : Tankd a phakabatiaan Ami ska sa di nka kalipatan Muhsin Khan : We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), Sahih International : We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, Pickthall : We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget Yusuf Ali : By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, Shakir : We will make you recite so you shall not forget, Dr. Ghali : We will soon make you read so you will not forget, Tafsir Jalalayn : We will have you recite, the Qur’ān, so that you will not forget, what you recite, Tagalog : Walang pag-aalinlangan, O Muhammad, na bibigkasin Namin sa iyo, ang Banal na Qur’ân na ito, ng pagbibigkas na hindi mo na makalilimutan, 87:7Hassanor Alapa : inonta bo so kabaya o Allāh mataan a Skaniyan na katawan Iyan so mapayag ago so misosoln Muhsin Khan : Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. Sahih International : Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. Pickthall : Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; Yusuf Ali : Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. Shakir : Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. Dr. Ghali : Excepting whatever Allah decides; surely He knows audible speech and what is concealed. Tafsir Jalalayn : except what God may will, that you forget, by abrogating its recitation and its ruling — the Prophet (s) used to recite aloud while Gabriel recited, fearing to forget, and so it is as though it was said to him, ‘Do not hasten in it; you will not forget and so do not weary yourself by reciting it aloud’; assuredly He, exalted be He, knows what is overt, of words and deeds, and what is hidden, of both of these. 87:8Hassanor Alapa : Go lbodn Ami rka so malbod Muhsin Khan : And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). Sahih International : And We will ease you toward ease. Pickthall : And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. Yusuf Ali : And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). Shakir : And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. Dr. Ghali : And We will ease you to the Easiest (way). Tafsir Jalalayn : And We will ease your way to the easy way, the uncomplicated Law, namely, Islam. 87:9Hassanor Alapa : Na pamakatadm ka ka phakanggay a gona so kapananadm Muhsin Khan : Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). Sahih International : So remind, if the reminder should benefit; Pickthall : Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. Yusuf Ali : Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). Shakir : Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. Dr. Ghali : So remind, in case the Reminding profits. Tafsir Jalalayn : So remind, admonish by the Qur’ān, in case the reminder should be of benefit, to the one whom you might remind, the one mentioned in [the following verse] ‘he [who fears] will be reminded’, in other words, even if it might not be of benefit, for it is of benefit to some but of no benefit to others. 87:10Hassanor Alapa : Tankd a phananadm so taw a ikhalk iyan so Allāh Muhsin Khan : The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), Sahih International : He who fears [ Allah ] will be reminded. Pickthall : He will heed who feareth, Yusuf Ali : The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): Shakir : He who fears will mind, Dr. Ghali : He who is apprehensive will constantly remember, Tafsir Jalalayn : He who fears, God, exalted be He, will be reminded, by it, as in the verse: So admonish by the Qur’ān him who fears My threat [Q. 50:45]; Tagalog : Makikinabang ng aral na ito ang sinumang natatakot sa kanyang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, 87:11Hassanor Alapa : Go phananggilaan skaniyan o taw a lbi a kamomor-kaan Muhsin Khan : But it will be avoided by the wretched, Sahih International : But the wretched one will avoid it - Pickthall : But the most hapless will flout it, Yusuf Ali : But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, Shakir : And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, Dr. Ghali : And the most wretched will avoid it, Tafsir Jalalayn : but the wretched one (al-ashqā means al-shaqī), that is to say, the disbeliever, will shun it, that is, the reminder, in other words, he will leave it aside, not looking at it, Tagalog : At lalayo naman sa paalaalang ito ang sinumang masama na hindi natatakot sa kanyang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha, 87:12Hassanor Alapa : A so phakasold ko Naraka a mala Muhsin Khan : Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, Sahih International : [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, Pickthall : He who will be flung to the great Fire Yusuf Ali : Who will enter the Great Fire, Shakir : Who shall enter the great fire; Dr. Ghali : (He) who will roast in the Greatest Fire, Tafsir Jalalayn : he who will be roasted in the greater Fire, the Fire of the Hereafter, the lesser fire being that of this world; Tagalog : Na siya ay katiyakang papasok sa matinding parusa ng Impiyernong-Apoy na malalasap niya ang lagablab nito, 87:13Hassanor Alapa : Oriyan iyan na di ron phatay ago di ron khaoyag Muhsin Khan : Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). Sahih International : Neither dying therein nor living. Pickthall : Wherein he will neither die nor live. Yusuf Ali : In which they will then neither die nor live. Shakir : Then therein he shall neither live nor die. Dr. Ghali : Thereafter he will neither die therein, nor live. Tafsir Jalalayn : then he will neither die therein, and find rest, nor live, a enjoyable life. 87:14Hassanor Alapa : Sabnar a miakadaag so taw a sioti niyan a ginawa niyan 1990 Muhsin Khan : Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, Sahih International : He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself Pickthall : He is successful who groweth, Yusuf Ali : But those will prosper who purify themselves, Shakir : He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, Dr. Ghali : He has already prospered who has cleansed himself. Tafsir Jalalayn : Successful, winner, indeed is he who purifies himself, [who] cleanses himself by means of [his adherence to] faith, Tagalog : Katiyakan, magtatagumpay ang sinumang nililinis niya ang kanyang sarili mula sa mga masasamang pag-uugali, at inalaala niya ang Pangalan ng Kanyang ‘Rabb’ na Tagapaglikha – Allâh, at pinaniwalaan niya ang Kanyang Kaisahan at nanalangin sa Kanya at gumawa ng anumang kalugud-lugod sa Kanya, 87:15Hassanor Alapa : Go tiadman iyan so ingaran o Kadnan iyan na miakapanam-bayang Muhsin Khan : And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). Sahih International : And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. Pickthall : And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, Yusuf Ali : And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. Shakir : And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. Dr. Ghali : And who remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. Tafsir Jalalayn : and mentions the Name of his Lord, saying Allāhu akbar, ‘God is Great’, and prays, the five prayers — and such are the concerns of [one working towards] the Hereafter, [concerns] which the Meccan disbelievers shun. 87:16Hassanor Alapa : Ogaid na pphakalbi niyo so kaoyagoyag ko doniya 1991 Muhsin Khan : Nay, you prefer the life of this world; Sahih International : But you prefer the worldly life, Pickthall : But ye prefer the life of the world Yusuf Ali : Day (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; Shakir : Nay! you prefer the life of this world, Dr. Ghali : No indeed, (but) you prefer the present life, (Literally: the lowly life, i.e., the life of this world). Tafsir Jalalayn : Nay, but you prefer (or read yu’thirūna, ‘they prefer’) the life of this world, to the Hereafter, Tagalog : Katiyakan, hindi ang inyong inaakala ang katotohanan, kundi walang pag-aalinlangan, kayo – O kayong mga tao – ay mas inuuna pa ninyo ang kinang ng makamundong buhay sa daigdig kaysa walang hanggang kaligayahan sa Kabilang-Buhay. 87:17Hassanor Alapa : A so akhirat na aya lbi a mapia ago lbi a tatap Muhsin Khan : Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. Sahih International : While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. Pickthall : Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. Yusuf Ali : But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. Shakir : While the hereafter is better and more lasting. Dr. Ghali : And the Hereafter is more charitable (i.e., better) and more enduring. Tafsir Jalalayn : whereas the Hereafter, and the Paradise it entails, is better and more lasting. 87:18Hassanor Alapa : Mataan a giai na midadakat ko pandangan a paganay 1992 Muhsin Khan : Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, Sahih International : Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, Pickthall : Lo! This is in the former scrolls. Yusuf Ali : And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- Shakir : Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, Dr. Ghali : Surely this is in the earliest Scrolls, Tafsir Jalalayn : Truly this, the success of those who purify themselves, and the Hereafter being better, is in the former scrolls, the ones revealed before the Qur’ān, Tagalog : Katiyakan, ang anumang inihayag Ko sa inyo sa kabanatang ito ay naitala rin ang kahulugan nito sa mga naunang Kasulatang ipinahayag bago pa ang Qur’ân, 87:19Hassanor Alapa : So kitab o Ibrāhīm ago so (kitāb) o Mūsā. Muhsin Khan : The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). Sahih International : The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. Pickthall : The Books of Abraham and Moses. Yusuf Ali : The Books of Abraham and Moses. Shakir : The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. Dr. Ghali : The Scrolls of Ibrahim and Musa (Abraham and Moses respectively). Tafsir Jalalayn : the scrolls of Abraham and Moses, the ten scrolls of Abraham and the Torah of Moses. Tagalog : Na ito ay sa Kasulatan nina Ibrâhim (as) at Mousa (as). Osayan1988.
